Kate Emery, Josh Rappaport, Diane Staron, Jen Aldrich, Gail Lewis, and Monique Lambert helped serve lunch at Loaves and Fishes in Hartford to over 50 people. “It feels good to serve people down on their luck and to hopefully be a part of something good in their lives. It’s a tough world out there!”

MS Walk
Walker employees participated in the MS Walk on April 22, 2007 at the UCONN Hartford Campus to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This was more than just a fundraising event, the MS Walk brought families together, co-workers united for a greater good, and people gained a better understanding of what MS is and how close the National Multiple Sclerosis is to finding a cure for it. The event created a hope-filled and fun atmosphere for everyone affected by MS while generating a greater awareness of multiple sclerosis to the public.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research than any other private organization. In additional to supporting studies which hope to reveal the cause and course of the disease, the National MS Society also provides much needed education, programs, and services to everyone who is affected by MS, including the diagnosed, their friends and families, and healthcare professionals who work with them. Walker employees were proud to walk for such a great cause, which helps so many people each day.
